    *NOTE*
First time media do-er so feedback is appreciated. I'll probably do the East Atlantic if people like this one. If someone wants to do something similar for the west or with their own flair to it feel free, if not i may get to it when i have time. Thanks!

    :team7:NEW JERSEY DEVILS:team7: 14-1-3

Following the loss of Selke winner RGD before the week began some might have thought the Devils would have taken a slight step back this week…. Instead they go 8-0-1 and #1 in the NHL through 2 weeks. The Devils hold a league best 35 GA, and are 3rd in GF with 64. The manager line has been leading the way starting off with a dynamite 6-0, and has @Groulxz leading the team with 26 points (2nd in league). @Rainz5580 has been spectacular so far going 8-1, boasting a .843 SV% and a league high 1.3 GAA So far this team is showing no weakness, but we’ll see if RGD’s abilities will be missed as the season progresses.

    Who’s Hot: Everyone. Literally everyone.

Who’s Not: No one. Literally no one. Well maybe @Sleemn with 14 PIMs through 6 games. Remove your RB.

    :team74:CAROLINA HURRICANES:team74: 11-4-3
Carolina followed up their 5-1-3 week by going 6-3 with @JClaus33 and his line going 3-0. Still not up to what most might expect out of these guys, but the team is doing alright. Carolina currently sits 4th in GF at 63, and 10th in GA. Goaltending (and defense) looks to be off so far as both goalies share a .761 and .744 SV%, nothing to thrilling there. This team is certainly still a powerhouse, just some kinks need to be ironed out.

    Who’s Hot: @RickHeinzGoalie (4-1-1) (10G 7A), @KSKrish (5-0-1) (0G-8A)

Who’s Not: @l Bousquet l (3-1-2) – Gonna need to start getting that SV% into the upper .700s.

    :team4:PHILADELPHIA FLYERS:team4: 12-6-0

The Flyers are holding steady so far through 2 weeks at 12-6, and have been dominant going 7-1 in one goal games. Currently middle of the pack (14th) in GF with 53 and tied for 10th in GA with 46. @Tha Party Poopa and his line got it done with a 3-0 week. @Th3 l AnD 0n1y continues his strong season, as he sits at a 9-3 record with a .833 SV% and 1.99 GAA.

Who’s Hot: ^ Looks like they got a good 2nd line moving forward if this week showed anything

    Who’s Not: @Daddy Kaneee (2-4-0) (3G 2A) – he did go 2-1 this week but 5 points through 6 games is a bit underwhelming

    :team14:WASHINGTON CAPITALS:team14: 11-6-1

The Caps are in a similar situation as the Flyers are, 52 GF and 46 GA. Unfortunately this week, they took a step back. Being blown out 6-0 and 7-0 in back to back games is not a good look. The good news is the Caps do have a strong goalie tandem going on; @TripAcez is 5-1 with a .824 SV% and 2.12 GAA, and @Tiny x 30 is 6-5-1 with a .781 SV% and 2.73 GAA (was in both blowout losses unfortunately).

    Who’s Hot: @Hyperr x 95 + @Burnsy x 95 (4-2-0) – both with 20+ points. Keep buzzing

Who’s Not: @BradyTkachuk and company, gotta at least keep the games close

    :team27:NEW YORK ISLANDERS:team27: 8-8-2

The Isles have had a very average start to the season. 4-4-1 in week 1 and 4-4-1 once again in week 2. 22nd in GF with just 47, the offense is clearly struggling a bit. Defense however, they are tied for 7th with only 43 GA. That’s good news for the team as long as the offense can turn a corner and start producing. The goalie duo of @Perrilyzer1 and @B I N K Y I77I are a huge bright spot as they are both sporting above .800 SV%.

    Who’s Hot: Perrilyzer1 (2-3-1) (.822 SV% 2.13 GAA)

    B I N K Y I77I (5-3-1) (.806 SV% 2.33 GAA)

    Who’s Not: @Dame l13l (2-4-0) (5G 4A) – Don’t go 0-3 next week <3

    :team78:PITTSBURGH PENGUINS:team78: 6-6-6

Tough look for the Pens as they go 2-2-5 this week. They seemingly can’t score currently, hence why they sit in the bottom 5 for GF with 39. There is still time to turn this ship around, and being in OT 5 times this week, it could have been a totally different week for them. We’ll see what happens as the season progresses…

    Who’s Hot: @Denisov x 42 (4-3-3) (.824 SV% 2.31 GAA) – Certainly giving his team a chance to win with some good numbers

Who’s Not: All those winless players. Management needs to either shake up the roster a bit or give them some easier games to gain some confidence. Maybe next week is your week guys

    :team12:NEW YORK RANGERS:team12: 6-11-1

Woof. 2nd last in GF with 36, 1 better than LA. Also 26th in GA with 63. Shockingly, the Rangers are 5-2-1 in one goal games. Unfortunately, they seem to get blown out more often than not (7-3, 6-2, 8-1 just this week).

    Who’s Hot: …..

Who’s Not: @Ix Lutvi xI (0-6-0) – tough start for the GM who has posted some good records in season’s past

    :team6:COLUMBUS BLUE JACKETS:team6: 5-10-3

I mean, Columbus did better than last week I suppose. Only 4 one goal games through 18 games, and they lost all of them (0-1-3). Nothing great to speak about at the moment. The defense is poor, and the goaltending is too.

    Who’s Hot: @Marche x 16 (2-0-0) (2G 4A) – Maybe he can help turn the Jackets around?

Who’s Not: The team. Help your goalies out first and go from there. A .735 and .714 SV% isn’t gonna cut it.

Awesome job. These are my favorite types of media I think because it gives you a look at the inner division battling for position going on. Looking forward to more in the future!
