Any chance we can get these turned on? On the old LG nobody had any titles at all except staff and comish's but now everyone does, and most just say Senior Member. Can we change it to where we can put whatever we want on there? Especially with sigs being in the backround now, and pretty much nobody ever seeing them, this is a small little area where we can personalize our posts a little more.
I dont think we will be turning on the custom titles but we are trying to come up with something better then the default crap. You're right
Just curious any particular reason why? It definately adds a little flavor to the boards not having the same garbage for everybody and gives people a chance to say something unique for whatever they want to say.
Well, my first thought was that its going to be abused. But maybe im not giving people enough credit. So we can give it a shot and see how it goes, they should be turned on now.
That's awesome Drake. At least we can give it a shot and see how it goes. Also in vB you can block certain words from being used in the CUT, for instance, like moderator, admin, staff, etc. So you can also kinda help keep it from being abused in that regard.
This defiantly has it's pros and cons. It defiantly allows the user to show some creative text like Mr. P said, but it also can provide a ton of distant messages. For example, users can just put whatever they want it may become abusive. Let's try it out tho, see what happens!
