Flyers are done. Ovie's pissed. No way he let's WASH lose at home tomorrow night.

 

Flyers have, by far, been the better team in the series. They could have easily been up 3-0 in the series seeing as they blew a 4-2 lead in game 1. Washington has gotten the breaks in the series and that's what it comes down to. If Washington can get the same luck in game 7, then ultimately they'll win. If it's just a hard fought, momentum swinging hockey game, I'm sorry but Washington is going to lose.
Washington, in my opinion, doesn't even deserve to be in the playoffs. I mean, I think ovechkin is the best player in the league, and they picked up a few veterans in Federov and Huet, but, even though I absolutely despise Carolina, I think they should be in. Washington isn't as good as everyone is making them out to be. They had a good run, yes, but team's weren't hitting them. They Flyers are playing a physical brand of hockey, Washington can't respond. Washington's fairy tale is coming to an end.

Where are you getting that from? Who in their right mind would bandwaggon Philly? They aren't a good team either.
They've got wicked young talent and great special teams, but that's as far as it goes. I mean, their veteran presence is Jason Smith....give me a break.
And Biron is weak, he's had a good playoffs, that's for sure. But he hasn't exactly proved himself in his career, not as a number 1 at least, and i'm still not convince.
Plus, they're an overall soft team. They don't have enough speed upfront to be a typical soft team, puck possession, dangling, finesse. So they know they've got to hit and be physical.

and the flyers first goal was soft as hell...there is no question the capitals are TEN TIMES better than the flyers...

wow. flyers could not have gotten anymore outplayed.

flyers can't do anything 5 on 5 ....rely on bs calls by the ref and bs non calls (goalie interference) that was unbeliveable a disgrace. completely jobbed.

let me prove my point on why i made this thread and this doesnt go for any Flyers fan on here.

I live in Philly and i am apart of the Flyers boards and all my friends are flyers fans.

Last night everyone said things like " well o well the Eagles are startin up soon ", "oh who cares we werent getting by Montreal anyway" "this whole team sucks fire everyone"

now everyone is like "woooo we are the best , i knew we would win from the start" , and "were going to the cup! were going to the cup!"


Half of philly fans arent even real fans.

 

I believed we were going to win from the start never lost faith and as of right now I could give a sh it about the Eagles because football is 4 months away
