Hello everyone. My name is Jeffrey...I'm from Indiana. I first ran across LG last year with NHL 2k6. When I was a member of the CIHL league. Really thought it was very cool how much more "data" you get on the LG website, compared to the 2k league site. Time went by...didn't think much more about it till I started looking at leagues for MLB 2k7, and this site popped back in my head. I'm really looking forward to having lots of fun with all the league options here. I don't play sports games on live againest average joes, it's always hard telling what kind of game you'll get. I'm a fan of the following teams: NFL - (been a fan forever...even through the horrible 90's NHL - Boy did they suck again this year. MLB - & Grew up a fan of the A's but last year I really started following the Reds, since they are my local team. The more I watch the NL the more I like it better then the AL. CBB - I'm a casual fan. Like to see do well. CFB - I root for ND because frankly they are the only team close to me that has any chance of ever winning anything. I know a few guys here from other leagues and I hope to see the rest of you around. Hopefully we'll have some good games. Thanks, Jeffrey
Hey man , welcome to the site! Glad your hear You a blue jackets fan? My friend plays for them (Geoff platt), got called up again last week and played on nash's line and had 2 points in the game vs PHX. That's made me a CBJ fan as well
Sweet...I really think the front office for the Jackets needs some house cleaning.They keep bringing up these guys that play well while they are in the NHL. Then for some dumb reason they send them back down. I mean what they are doing now isn't working, so keep those young guys up for a while and give them a chance.
Welcome, and have a look around. You really have to pay your dues here to get into leagues, but its worth it. I can tell you though, most of those particular teams are spoken for. You kinda have to take whoever until a guy takes a season off. Get some exhibitions in in whatever you are interested in, talk to the admins to see what they look for in league members. I know there are openings in Madden(I actually have the Bengals for the upcoming season). Good luck and have fun.
To be honest, I actually prefer not to play as my favorite teams. Thats what the offline is for For some reason I seem to have more fun playing with some team that I don't have a rooting interest in, or that I don't really care about. Plus when I'm not playing as my favorite team I'm more willing to make smart moves to make the team better, rather then keeping everything the same as the real team.
I used to be a big fan of the Pacers before Reggie retired. Now I can't get in the mood to wanna watch them.
