I'm looking forward to this matchup at the World Jr. Championships tomorrow. I don't see the U.S. having any trouble getting past Switzerland today setting up game for the pool tomorrow vs. Canada. My money is on the U.S. team. They are loaded. Potential #1 overall pick in next years draft, Phill Kessel, defenceman, Jack Johnson, forwards Bobby Ryan, Blake Wheeler and Tom Fristsche make for a tough hill for team Canada to climb. Either way, it will be a war and bodes well for the U.S. future of hockey.
USA...beat Canada? pfft. no way. Even with Canada's inexperienced team they will still smash them. I'm sure Tris can back me up on this, lol
It should be a great game. U.S. have an intimidating group this year. Pogge, Canada's goalie, could be the difference. I'll take the hosers at home. Go Canada!
Yeah, we're going in as the underdogs for once. USA is supposed to win but if anyone can beat them it will Canada! Lets go boys!!
I am really looking forward to this, Canada is seldom the underdog and being the underdog on our soil just sounds wrong... I say 3-2 Canada.
Well, to be fair Canada only beat the Swiss by one so the outcome of that game really doesn't say much. That said, I still think Canada will win the game but it should be close. But really, the games that matter will be after the pool play is done.
I guess it's just you and I Nino. Regardless of todays outcome, the tournament is just beginning. If Canada can play their aggressive style and stay out of the box...They win. If not, USA PP will light the lamp enough.
 Anyways... Canada will use their physicality and speed to run the americans off the puck. This one wont even be close.
Speed can not beat technique. Even though Canada has a few draft choices of CBJ, I still believe that USA will be able to use the technique and puck handling of Fritsche to beat "that country up north"
Just as I expected it was a close game with Canada picking up the win. Team U.S.A.'s biggest concern now is not who they play in the Quarters but whether Jack Johnson is even allowed to play.
He will get suspended for that but knowing he's an american i won't be surprise if he doesn't get suspended if it were a canadian right away a match penalty. I be really pissed if they don't suspend that stooge.
I have not seen the hit, but from what I have been reading it will be one game. The IIHF doesn't really want to get credibilty called into question over this...
