WJC Question thread

I don't mean this disrespectfully, but if the goal of LG is to simulate the real NHL/AHL/CHL as close as possible exluding anyone who makes it past the first round of playoffs doesn't make sense. WJC is supposed to be a tournament between the best prospects which is exactly how I feel it should be in LG. this rule excludes majority of the best players in the C because they are probably on better teams. I understand the want to keep people involved that aren't in the playoffs but I feel it could have been done in another type of tournament or something. I understand this is more of an opinion than a question but I'd be interested in hearing the staffs side of the argument.

 

Can you be selected as an owner of a team even if you are still in playoffs of CHL?

Hi how's it going! I am on the Islanders so we are in the playoffs but it all depends how far we make it, I was hoping to apply to be an owner of one of these team for the WJC as I thought it would be a great intro into ownership for the next season. Please let me know if I need to do anything specific to apply for ownership. Thank you

 

@jaffer38 most likely you won't be able to play due to your team making it out of the first round and deep into the playoffs.

What constitutes the rule to join "must have played at least half". Is that being registered as a TC for half, played in half amount of total playable games, or rosteredfor half the season?

Say if u signed up halfway through the season and were randomly assigned and have finished the season..you are elgible. If u just recently joined and dont have half the games played i would assume you can't! And if ur in the playoffs after round 1 You cannot play!
