    Ya amazing their season came down to a shootout. But if you look at it from the otherside, All they won is 4 more games till their season ends.

    I'm happy the flyers won but I'm not happy it was a shootout that won it. I know even if the game would have ended in a tie, the Flyers would have taken the spot. I just don't agree with a shootout ending the game.

    there will always be people who cry about shootouts, especially when your team is on the losing end of one that determines something big like a playoff spot.

    but you can't argue that shootouts are exciting, and fun to watch. they do a lot more good for the game than harm. its not like shootouts are apart of the playoffs (and they shouldn't be) but for regular season it is perfectly fine.

    The season is 82 games. Obviously it sucks when such a big game ends like that, but if the Flyers top two tendy's didn't get hurt the game would not have mattered. Atleast the team that played better won.

    A hockey game shouldnt end in a shootout anymore than a basketball game should end with freethrows, or a football game in field goals.

    It doesn't surprise me that you like shootouts. You like flash and dash you are an ovechkin fan.

    Shootouts are no way to end a hockey game. If they had shootouts decide the stanley cup people would be up in arms freaking out. A regular season game is suppose to decide who makes the playoffs and who doesn't every game is tight, every game is important just ask THE NEW YORK RANGERS.

    I repeat a hockey game should never end in a shootout.
